This exhibition hall in Huadiwan, one of the first neighbourhoods in Guangzhou to be developed, reflects the district's history and culture. The entire hall has a flower theme, and is embellished with petals and brightly coloured plants. The delicate wooden grilles of the main structure break up the spatial framework creating a friendly setting on a human scale in the form of a flower blooming - an unmistakable icon matching the site's cultural identity.
